Busy Day... First Tour, Trinity Low Voltage Meeting, Exploring Community and Lots of Photos

Big day yesterday! Our day started early for a 7:30 am meeting with Aaron our PM. It was our first walkthrough of the house and it was really exciting to see all the progress on the side. The house is pretty much completely framed at this point. The HVAC has been installed and all the air ducts are in place. The best part of the meeting was seeing the view of the golf course from the great room. It really exceeded our expectations and were glad we found such a great lot. Overall Aaron was great and took his time explaining some the features and the framing process. He's still projecting an August delivery with September as a worst case scenario.

After the walkthrough with Aaron, Chris headed off to the office and I stuck around for a meeting with the folks at Trinity. I had a lot of time to kill before the Trinity meeting, so I spent it exploring the community. I checked out the clubhouse grounds, walked the scenic trails and looked around the many mcmansions in the neighborhood. Im from NYC, so it always surprises me to see people living in that much space. The community is really beautiful and developers really did an awesome job creating a scenic place to live. We'll definitely miss the convenience of living in D.C and being a metro or an uber ride away from everything. However, we feel moving out to Beechtree is making up for it 10 fold.

The Trinity meeting was pretty straight forward, they wanted to confirm the locations of the Coax cable, network line, HDMI, and speaker prewires. Walter, our Trinity guy was able to give us good feed back on where to locate the wires.

  • We have our pre drywall meeting the following week
  • We also have our pre drywall inspection scheduled the following week as well

    1. Thank you. It was definitely important to us to have a small yard for Momo. Our cats should be happy sun bathing on the deck.

    1. Thanks. I knew it was going to go up fast from looking at the other blogs, but I'm always surprised by how quickly it all happens.

  3. it is beautiful. if you haven't already the Sunday Brunch is awesome at the club house. Beechtree is my dream community but unfortunately me and the guy need a few more months of savings and payoffs before the big leap. I am told it's in the closing phases and almost complete.

    1. Im definitely looking forward to having Sunday brunch there at some point. It looks like they are on the last leg of building new homes but I think construction will go on for another 2 years if not longer. Hopefully we'll be reading your blog in the near future.
