Update on our bent stud
So we got a really quick response from Aaron our project manager. We're happy to see he's being really responsive to any questions or concerns. So FYI to anyone whose also building, there is a specific phase where they go back to make adjustments to the framing for things like a bowed/bent studs.

This was Aaron's response:
"Owen/Chris,
Bent/bowed studs is something that would be addressed after framing is complete and as rough trades are working thru the home. We have a specific phase (time) when the framer does a frame punch out. Any stud issues as well as other items that are addressed during frame punch out are handled at that time.

We are dealing with the same thing currently. I just keep making notes of the issues (I seem to find something every visit, so visit often) and when the time comes, if they aren't fixed, I'll bring them up then.
ReplyDeleteIm definitely making notes and have taken detailed photos through out the whole process. We are also having an inspector come pre drywall to catch anything we may have missed.
