Pre construction meeting scheduled
We finally have a pre construction meeting date! So we'll be meeting our PM on Friday morning. We're really not sure what to expect, any tips from the vets?
Other updates: Our sales rep is expecting construction to start in the next 2 weeks. They also have an expected settlement date for the 2nd week of August which is a little disappointing. We were hoping to move in July.

Things are about to get exciting!! I would recommend that you bring your selection sheets, floor plans, and other documents that you will be able to triple check against the construction plans with your PM. Your PM will likely go over the blueprints of your home with you room-by-room--and the exterior. You'll likely sign a document suggesting that you've reviewed the prints and agree to the building terms. Take your time to make sure that everything aligns according to your expectations because it is difficult to make changes after they've broken ground. If you have questions--now is the time to ask. After reviewing blogs, I put together a list of questions for my pre-con meeting. The PM answered most of my questions while he was reviewing the blueprints, but there were some questions that remained. Below is a list of the questions that I asked during my meeting. If interested, you may consider doing a search of other blogs for questions to ask. Sorry if my questions to PM are totally irrelevant for your process. Good luck to you guys!! :)
