Pre Construction Questions

***Update***
We got awesome news today from our SR. NVHomes is now including a 9ft deck instead of the 7ft they offer in our community. Apparently the change was made due to feedback from current home owner. We also thought 7ft wasn't enough for the house and paid for an additional 3ft at a $1000 per ft. So thats money back in our pockets or possibly putting towards other upgrades. We would like to possibly upgrade to quartz countertops but were keeping our fingers crossed that they'll allow us to make any changes this late. Regardless its great news....

Pre Construction Questions:

So we have our pre construction meeting tomorrow, these are the questions we've come up with:

General:

What is the estimated  timeline for completing construction? Milestones?

Can we visit the site anytime? What is the policy?

What are the window dimensions?

Is it structurally possibly to add on a fourth level in the future?

Is there insulation between the secondary bedrooms?

Is there insulation between the floors?

What color is the house paint? Can we have the same paint used in the model?

What is the protocol for inspection pre and after drywall?

Will we receive weekly updates?

Can we schedule visits for our flooring and custom closet installers prior to settlement?

Electrical:

Confirm location of master closet power outlet.

Will we have an outlet in the deck?

Location of outlet in garage

Can we swap out the adjustable recessed lights?

Can we install the recessed lights in the stairwell ceiling?

Will we have a doorbell?

Do we have dimmers on the lights? Can they be installed?

Bathrooms:

Can we have a stone transition installed?

Are the mirrors glued down to the wall?

Recreation:

Can plumbing be roughed in for future wet bar?

Kitchen:

Does the granite backsplash have to be installed?

Is it too late to upgrade our countertop?

Is it possible to order a different type of sink

Deck:

What color is the deck flooring? Can we choose?

How tall is the privacy fence?

Master bath:

Can we install a shower niche instead of a shelf?

Can the ceiling height in the shower be increased?
